A deeply flavoured multigrain sourdough, naturally leavened and slowly fermented, with a crisp crust, balanced crumb, and layers of texture from a carefully chosen blend of grains and seeds. This is a very lightly multigrain loaf adding just enough to give some lovely crunch - especially when toasted!

The dough is made with 80% white flour and 20% wholemeal flour, giving the loaf both lightness and depth. It’s enriched with malted wheat flakes, organic sunflower seeds, barley flakes, organic millet seeds, and jumbo oats, creating a bread that’s full of character without being heavy.

Naturally leavened and given time to ferment, the dough develops a gentle tang that balances the sweetness of the grains and the nuttiness of the seeds. Baked free-form, it produces a well-developed crust and an open yet satisfying crumb — textured, wholesome, and versatile.


Grains & seeds

This multigrain sourdough contains:

  • Malted wheat flakes

  • Organic sunflower seeds

  • Barley flakes

  • Organic millet seeds

  • Jumbo oats

These are soaked before mixing to enhance flavour, improve texture, and support keeping quality, while allowing the sourdough fermentation to remain the foundation of the loaf.


Local flour, whenever we can

When available, we use locally milled flour from Charlecote Mill, the last working watermill in South Warwickshire, combining white and wholemeal flour for balance. If local flour isn’t available, we switch to carefully chosen organic white and wholemeal flours so the loaf remains consistent, flavourful, and well structured.

Storage & freshness

Best enjoyed within 3–4 days. Keep cut-side down on a board or in a bread bag. For longer keeping, slice and freeze — it toasts beautifully straight from frozen.
