Doors opened this week at The Midnight Bakery, and we are really excited to start baking proper sourdough bread for customers across South Warwickshire.

This first week feels like the calm before the storm — the oven is on, the flour is ready, the starter is bubbling away, and the first loaves are heading out to local homes. After all the planning, testing, tweaking and tasting, it is brilliant to finally be open and taking orders.

At The Midnight Bakery, we focus on slow-fermented sourdough loaves made with simple, honest ingredients. Good flour, water, salt, time, and a healthy sourdough starter. No shortcuts, no unnecessary additives, and no mass production. Just proper bread, baked with care.

Our range is built around everyday loaves that work beautifully for toast, sandwiches, soup, cheese boards, weekend breakfasts and everything in between. From classic white sourdough to more rustic loaves with wholemeal flour, our aim is to make bread that feels special but still fits into real daily life.

We are based in Ettington, Warwickshire, and deliver locally across the surrounding area. The idea is simple: you order online, we bake fresh, and your bread is delivered to your door.

Because this is the very beginning, things will grow gradually. New specials, seasonal loaves and a few extra pantry-style products are all planned, but for now our focus is on getting the core range right and making sure every customer receives bread we are proud to send out.
